Death Eater attack at the Taylor Phillips household

Death Eaters attacked the Taylor Phillips household on October 31st, 2007. The Ministry of Magic was able to obtain photographs of the crime scene (thumbnails below--click to enlarge). At least one muggle was killed. A witch and her daughter are known to have been threatened. There have been persistent reports of fatal attacks on Ministry wizards, but no additional bodies were discovered. One auror, patrolling the neighborhood in muggle garb (mismatched plaids), requested not to be photographed. The Death Eaters cast their signature "dark mark" symbol in the sky over the scene of the attack, which was seen to persist throughout the evening of the 31st.
