Superman and Lois Lane

Larry Niven takes great pride in being born the same year as Superman first appeared. I think it may have been one of the first things he said to me, way back in the early '80s. That is 1980s. We came up with the idea of an aging super hero, who had been wearing the same costume for all these years, and hurts easily now. Research on the original costume was not easy, but I finally found enough information in "The History of Superman". Lois and Clark made their first appearance at the Motor City Comic Con, which Larry described as a "three day autograph session".
