BAY AREA UNITARIAN UNIVERSALIST CHURCH

This is the covenant of the Conservative Covenant Group (CCG). We are a Covenant Group of the Bay Area Unitarian Universalist Church. We meet in accord with the Covenant Group guidelines adopted by the BAUUC board and set forth in the Congregational Handbook.

We meet together monthly in fellowship. Our primary purpose is to provide a respectful forum for conservatives to discuss books, essays, and current affairs. A secondary purpose is to encourage the church to embrace a diversity of political viewpoints by welcoming people regardless of their political orientation.

We agree to maintain a high level of civility and to welcome each member's participation. We respect the worth and dignity of those with whom we disagree, both inside and outside the church.

We may revise our covenant as we deem appropriate and helpful.
